What you need
A bocce set and a flat playing area.
How to set up
- Divide into two teams and assign ball colors.
- Mark a throwing line and toss the pallino into the playing area.
How to play: step by step
- The team that threw the pallino rolls the first bocce ball.
- The team farther from the pallino keeps rolling until it becomes closer or runs out of balls.
- After all balls are played, score one point for each ball closer than the opponent’s nearest ball.
- Play rounds until a team reaches the agreed score.
Beginner strategies
- Use gentle rolls for control.
- Knock away an opponent only when the angle is favorable.
